Scott DeFoe is a retired Los Angeles Police Department Officer who began his career as a Special Agent for USCS assigned to a DEA TF in San Francisco.  His last assignment was as a Sergeant at Special Weapons and Tactics.  Throughout his career, he worked in Patrol, Vice, Gangs, Narcotics, and K9.

Post LEO service, Scott entered the world of executive protection/corporate security and eventually opened his own consulting company.  Over the past 8 years, he has been retained on over 700 police practices/premises liability matters and testified as an expert in the use of deadly force, K9, pursuits, SWAT, Crisis Negotiations, Barricaded Subjects, Protests,  (Less Lethal Force-40mm. 37mm, Remington 870 BB Shotgun, Taser, Neck Restraints (Carotid/LVNR, Air Choke)Baton, and OC Spray).  Scott has testified/qualified as an expert over 40 times in State and Federal Court.  He has been retained on multiple high-profile cases, some involve him representing the Plaintiff who is suing LE, (George Floyd, Marcus Smith, Daniel Prude, Kelly Thomas, Danny Ray Thomas, and many more).
